Saw 2 flats: one belonging to Mrs Pembroke Stevens (war correspondent1) opposite N. [North] gate of Zoo, one to Wing Commander Gayford at 31 Alma Square. Decided on return (talking[RG] late at night) on latter.
Alan with us all day: lunch at Zoo: saw gorill.[RG] orang-utang being teased; & dromedary being taught to dance by man who gave it oranges.
Six steel buttons from Mr. Mills for 3/-2.
Fog patches on way back.
Alan thinking of marrying Beryl.
