2 pp [pages] Belisarius and a long letter to Random House about m[RG] books & advances, & another to John Buchan about Dictionary, & another to Peggy about Jenny.
This was a good day's work & I walked from Cranleigh & have all but regained my normal condition. Passing three suspicious cows with tiny calves I asked 'And how are your charming children?'[RG]
Laura a good deal better & working on friendship recommendation1.
Slang dict. [dictionary]2 & Disraeli3 novels came.
Important decision about cheese4 pending: financing British cheese business.
I now hit target at least once a day: all the arrows of different weight, length & twist.
