Tom, Julie, Schuyler
Katharine met us. Customs men suspicious of Oxford Dictionary1; but let Laura through without trouble. Schuyler drove us to Princeton in his farm-truck. That night he & Katharine came over to supper. Isabel & Jesse phoned from Los Angeles.
Not much said. Distributed presents (the Havre things) & the wooden gifts.
Saw American robin: no newspaper placards, no garden fences.
