Freezing hard. All energies spent in keeping up fires.
Dictionary, a game of Russian billiards with 2 Montauban ×××× [indecipherable] men. After supper we sat round the fire with a communal[RG] blanket round our backs. Dorothy suffers greatly from cold in the chapel.
