Dictionary.
Then Beryl & I went to Rennes in Priour's car: running as a bus at 15 fr. [francs] each.
Bought Xmas [Christmas] presents: garnet & pearl pendant for Julie 250 fr, cigars for Juan, jar for Anita etc. Got myself lustre jug & blue mug for flowers, also étui1 & a chinese box total 73 fr. All women in bus but myself; & very nice to one another.
Beryl went to Dentist.
