Watt sent typed letters of T.E. to me. They are being offered to Messrs Walt[RG]
Maggs for sale. Telephone talk with Sally.
Took Ward's photograph of Alice1 to be passe-partouted2 and accidently[RG] met Len: he came home to lunch[RG] & discussed the international situation (which absorbs everything) Thinking that
England would isolate Italy from Germany and attack her within 3 months. L & I said no, no war.
*
Had tooth out: left molar, with injection. The dentist expected an hour's work; but it came out all in one, not in pieces.[RG]
Jenny to supper: discussed the question of her living alone. Wanted to remain at Curzon House, but for the thefts.
*3
Going over another (rewritten) chapter of 'The Heathen'.
