Had to go to Soller to fetch proofs
of Moon's No Fool from customs. Lift from Hotel manager who identified me. In
café an English[RG] woman & man: she talking about importance of children specializing — 'like Shirley
Temple you know! If you can sing & dance you
can always earn a living.' Of me — I was wearing green baize waistcoat with
silver buttons: "typical German."
Dahlias over.
