To village for cigarettes: visited Posada where water now in well. Syringa in bud: took cuttings. Went over garden with Laura: we decided on new crescent bed. Planted cuttings of yellow creeper, & of wall flowers snapdragons.[RG]

Packed up folding bed.

To Margarita's,3 but didn't get there: instead to Fábrica: radio, with news of sanctions voted. Medora says Dr4 & his party in Palma yesterday: may appeal.
Helped Catalina stuff aubergines & peppers for supper.
