To village for cigarettes: visited Posada where water now in well. Syringa in bud: took cuttings. Went over garden with Laura: we decided on new crescent bed. Planted cuttings of yellow creeper, & of wall flowers

When he put in the turbine at Ca'n Madó he removed the machinery and built a Café in its place (the Sala Concordia). WG
