Heavy rain.
Problem of how to warm fireless rooms now that the winter is coming on.
We thought of making blackberry jam three days ago, but there was a sugar shortage
from general hoarding. Now the blackberries are beyond jam making.
Montauban was full of refugees. Now they are shamefacedly returning.
