Mr. Brooks (of A.M.Heath) came & arranged with us about translation rights in Seizin books. Jenny to borrow money: had almost a row with her. Shortage due to letting a broke boy-friend
off paying for night-club on the Thursday. To Charing Cross road bookshops. Bought dictionary: little else. News theatre – no news, only jokes.
