Bought a brown garnet brooch Georgian 11/61, ruby & pearl ring for Dorothy 15/-2, Hester Bateman tongs 15/-, tea spoon M.S.3 for Maisie,silver salt & pepper castors 6/×××× each, 4 Wedgewood plates 1/- each, 37 piece pink tea service 7/6, Worcester sugar bowl 2/- ,pink china beads 2/-, Staffordshire water jug 6/-, Persian bedspread 9/- (from Spanish speaking Safardists from Selonika) cufflinks & stud 18/6, Victorian solitaire set 6.6d4, 2 pewter ashtrays 4/-.
Norman asked to mediate: apology on way from Grigson. Told Osborne, by phone, matter ended for me, if apology decent.
*[RG] Met David & Sam & saw them & C. off at Paddington (another platform) to Warminster. To Liddell Hart: he was very sticky.
