Finished going over Schw. autobiography now called "Almost Forgotten Times"1 as far as Karl had gone (except for a page or two of which the MSS [manuscript] is in Palma). Posada. Did plastering electric light point in Mesquida.
Proof-copies of Progress of Stories to Maisie, John & Lucie, Isabel M. Letters to first & last. Went over remaining pp [pages] of C.F.V.
Schw.2 to Carl to type.
Julian cried: so cut up green tomatoes for pickle.
Posada. Entrada3 done: bath being made. Key-stone on Honor's window raised, guides for tiles in corridor, bath pipe escape, mina4 & steps being made, windows in.
Liddell Hart writes "So we are both 'carted'. Only heard indirectly." From Eliot, pleased. Pinker, ditto. Astounding £500 cheque from Korda. Sent Nancy £150 (1/2 arrears). To Dulan for Schliemann5.
