Sunday April 28th
Worked at
Claudius F.V.
In afternoon Laura & I went for a walk to see
Gelat's Vinyet; from where we went to see the panadero's1 house below; & so
to the sea. It was a grey day

but it did not rain. Salamo came too, off his
leash most of the time. We came back by the carretera2 & after that Laura
came to the village, and in the evening I went to the Fábrica to order coffee
from Palma & I met her coming towards me with Nicholas3 & turned back,
& Nicholas & she & I sat in the café listening to the radio.
Castle Rackrent4 came.
We might one day buy panadero's5 house: excellent land and plenty
of water now.
Hall mirror to Palma for better glass.
First strawberries
