Sent Sanders1 back Vol I. of Moll Flanders2 ordered by mistake for missing Vol II. Also ordered Philostratus and Propertius3 in Loeb4. Wrote to Korda.
To Margarita in the morning: Laura's last two dresses of the Christmas silks arranged.
Cut off pods of stocks.
Cuttings of rough mimosa from Can Caballo. 5
Tea with Emmerich.
Unpleasant letter from Jenny about her career. All busy. Laura, Carl & I getting Focus revised & typed for Esperanza6 tomorrow. Letter also from Sergeant Townsend with photograph.
Worked until 3 a.m., Karl stopping the night.
